It bears a striking resemblance to Maude. Pretty! Where’d you guys go? I want fancy sushi.
… I think perhaps it was my subconscious that led me to order the “turtle roll”, after watching Harold’s antics the evening before. The restaurant was called “Matsuya”. They also had a “hippopotamus roll” that wasn’t nearly as popular, it seemed. Don’t know why.
The wasabi head was the cutest - and the green stuff on top of the sushi was caviar. Quite the festive sushi. The restaurant was just south of Wrigley Field on Clark - low on atmosphere - high on artistically shaped sushi.
Sounds good, Viv. Although when I think of south-of-Wrigley-on-Clark, I think of Toro. I’ll have to check out that place sometime.
I’ll try the hippo roll. Hippos are cute. Even if they’re evil.
