Quicker Picker Upper
March 22nd, 2007 . by mattFew places are nicer than Charleston in the Springtime. It obscene here. And it only lasts for about a week and a half. If it weren’t for all the yellow dust everywhere, I would be outside rolling around like a female mud-wrestler in some primo red clay. Shit. I wish I had a picture of that. Life is freakin’ good. And I just found out that Pure Theater is re-mounting (!) Cloud Tectonics for Piccolo Spoleto. Those that want to support good theater and also see me play a Puerto Rican Jarhead should start planning a trip.
AMEN, brother!!! Charleston’s mood-altering, weeklong spring is quite possibly the best thing about living, ever. Congrats on the Cloud Tectonics news!
Ahh, I’m only a few hours away down here in Jacksonville, FL, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Since January, really, almost every day has been sunny and beautiful and breezy and in the 70s.
Unfortunately it always dissolves into massively oppressive summers. But it’s fabulous while it lasts.
