Testing, Testing
February 18th, 2008 . by mattI’ve been playing around with upgrades and templates and blogging software all day for a re-make of the Terpsicorps website, and chose to use my own site as a guinea pig. I hate reading posts in blogs that say something like “check out the new look of the site” because people that find this forty years in the future won’t be able to read and so I think that kind of grandstanding is just plain rude.
To the geeks that are interested I am trying out ecto first. If I like it, I might buy it, but there are others to try. And blogging is so…2005-08, you know?
I know what you’re thinking: “Oh, Matt. Please put the keyboard away and show us more pictures of dogs.”
I like that every time I switch pages on this blog the banner changes. I like the banner images too.
.. but I’m baffled that it’s the 17th and the date on your post says the 18th.
Yes. Well, that is strange. It does seem now have the power to Blog in the Future, by default. If I play my cards right, we’ll all be reading conversations that Future Matt is having.
so future matt will tell you if the coffee is poisoned?
Future Matt says “yes”. “Almond-y!” Apparently, his personal default is somewhere between 5 and 8 hours ahead of Present Matt. Past Matt posts no comment.
ok. kind of weird.
this is my friend john’s webpage:

coincidence-tastic!
Nick, that is strange. In fact, it is really really strange. His site looks much better, though… so far. I haven’t finished messing with the template yet.
Who am I kidding? I’m totally finished messing with the template.
More dogs! More dogs!
